Vincent Shorter
Vince is an IT Executive at a Fortune 100 health care company. Currently he leads a global IT strategy team that focuses on innovative business solutions for supply chain, manufacturing and quality. Vincent has held global positions in various roles to include infrastructure, vendor management, finance, delivery, and project management. In these roles he helped to deliver business results in sales, marketing, research and development, and supply chain. Industries include pharmaceutical, medical devices, and agriculture. Vince is also a retired U. S. Army Lieutenant Colonel. During his 20-year career in the U.S. Army, he led various teams in multiple geographical locations within the continental United States, Honduras, and Kuwait.
Vince is passionate about leadership and STEM. He often speaks at various events inspiring professionals and students. This included speaking to over 15,000 at the National Robotics Competition. He has served on the National Board of Directors for the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA). He founded the Corporate Advisory Board for the Saint Louis Chapter of BDPA.
Vince earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from California State University and a dual Masters in Business Management and Information Technology Management from Webster University.
Vince is a lifetime member of the Military Officers Association (MOAA), the BDPA, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
